Bulletin Board:
Materials: Black construction paper, white
chalk, speaker's bubble, overhead projector or flashlight.
Directions: Cover bulletin board in
patriotic theme. Give each child black construction paper.
Have students trace each other's silhouette onto the black
construction paper using white chalk. Then each child will cut
out their silhouette as well as a speaker's bubble. Then,
students will write a message in the bubble. It can be their own
message or a quote from one of the presidents. Glue the bubble
to the mouth on the silhouette and post on the bulletin board. |
